Experience in and commitment to all aspects of technical design. Developing office standard details. Good team working and leadership skills. Proven project management, contract administration and organisational skills. Strong technical ability and a thorough knowledge of current construction legislation. An ability to deliver projects on time, to budget and to the highest possible design standard. Proficient CAD skills are considered an essential skill for this post (the practice uses AutoCAD ADT 2009). Writing Specifications and Schedules of Work (the practice uses NBS software). An interest in or enthusiasm for developing an expertise in the construction of sustainable buildings and works to historic buildings Most importantly the person must exhibit a long term commitment and drive to achieve success in both the corporate and project operations of the company.
